Where to Stay on Maui

You’ve booked your elopement and now you’re booking a place to stay! Yay!

If your elopement is on the west side and you want to stay nearby, here are some of the places I recommend you look into!

The Westin in Kaanapali is a beautiful resort with an unbeatable location, just north of Lahaina town. The resort offers cultural activities and events, a giant pool steps away from the ocean, and exclusive Lanai access, overlooking the water, that offers exotic and flavorful “bites” all day long.

You can book a stay at the Westin here.

If you want less of a resort feel and want to feel a little more “at home” in Maui, you should check out Airbnbs in Lahaina

Just a few minutes up the road is the Kaanapali Beach Hotel, which sits right on the edge of Black Rock Beach, one of the most popular places to snorkel and cliff jump on the west side.

You can book a stay at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel here.

If you’re looking to stay on the south side, you will find some more quiet, serene places to stay along the Wailea Beach Path.

Four Seasons Maui is one of the most popular resorts in Wailea. Sitting right on the Wailea Beach Path, it offers a beautiful view of the small islands Molokini and Kaho’olawe from the pool. The restaurant Spago (from my blog ‘Places to Eat After You Elope’) is located here!

You can book a stay at the Four Seasons Maui here.

Probably one of the most serene places you could stay on the south side is Hotel Wailea. Hotel Wailea is located a few blocks up from the beach, tucked away in a hidden spot up on a hill. You’ll get a beautiful view of the west side mountains from up there, and also quite possibly the most peaceful stay you could find on the island.

You can book a stay at Hotel Wailea here.

There are a plethora of Airbnbs in Kihei you could look into as well!
