Wailea Beach Wedding

When researching where to visit on Maui the Wailea area will always be on the top of the lists. Wailea has the best beaches, it doesn’t rain often, great restaurants and shopping, golf courses, and amazing resorts. Another huge plus, especially when it comes to beach wedding photos, is that the sun sets right over the ocean in Wailea. That means you get those beautiful golden hour photos that everyone wants.

Getting Ready

Xier and Ellias decided to celebrate their marriage with a Wailea beach wedding with just their immediate families in attendance. The day started with them getting ready at one of my favorite resorts, Hotel Wailea. Here’s another elopement where the couple got ready at Hotel Wailea. All of the ladies attending the wedding had professional hair and makeup down. This is always such a special way to make everyone feel involved. Moms especially love the extra bit of pampering 🙂

First Look

We drove to one of my favorite lush locations for a quick first look. When you have guests attending, it’s always nice to get away so you can have some quiet time with each other.

The Ceremony and Sunset

One of my favorite things about this Wailea beach wedding?! The florals Xier and Ellias added on. Although the beach on its own is beautiful, Xier and Ellias wanted something a bit extra. We had our florist create a beautiful semi-circle ground floral installation. After the ceremony, we headed over to the lava rock area of the beach to get intimate couples photos during sunset time. It was such a perfect day!
