The setting for your elopement day is one of the most important parts! This is the place where you’ll tie the knot, so choose a place that you absolutely love. Fly in a Helicopter

There are so many adventures you could have on the day you get married, and one of the most unique ways to celebrate saying “I do” is by getting in a helicopter! A helicopter elopement allows you to see the gorgeous scenery from above, and it’s a truly one of a kind experience.

Have a Beach Picnic

Adventure doesn’t have to mean adrenaline – when it comes to how to make an elopement special, it might be something as simple as sitting down together to celebrate. A picnic on the beach, especially at sunset, is a sweet way to end your elopement day!

The most important thing about your elopement is that it feels like you – so if you want to get ready for the day with your best friend by your side, you can skip all that “don’t see each other before the ceremony” tradition stuff! Getting ready together can make your elopement feel more special right from the beginning.

Some couples also opt to split up and do a first look instead – it’s all about what feels right for the two of you!

Get in the Water

All of Hawaii is known for its incredible beaches – so if you’re eloping here in Maui, there’s more fun beyond the shoreline! You can swim, paddleboard, kayak, take a surf lesson, or even go snorkeling or scuba diving. It’ll be a fun elopement day adventure! Of course, make sure you’re safe – some beaches are great for swimming while others are ideal for surfing, and a few aren’t good for getting in the water at all.
