Best Places for Cheaper Eats

If you’re looking for restaurants that offer amazing cuisine that won’t break the bank. You don’t have to look too hard! Maui has some incredibly noteworthy places to eat that aren’t too pricey. Honestly, my favorite places to eat are always the cheaper ones 🙂

Since Lahaina and Kihei are busier parts of the island, you’ll find endless options of places to eat in those towns. And because the north shore and upcountry are more local spots, you’ll see a lot of delicious, local, family-owned places!

Westside

Paia Fish Market (there are also locations in Kihei and Paia) – fresh fish plates, fish tacos

Down the Hatchburgers, sandwiches, and tacos

Cool Cat Cafeburgers (some of the best burgers on island)

North shore

Flatbread Pizzapizza

MilagrosMexican

Cafe des Amiscrepes and curry

Choice Health Bar (there’s also a location in Lahaina and Whalers Village) – acai bowls, smoothies

Surfclubtacos and local Hawaiian plates

Southside

Isana (more pricey throughout the day, but they have a reserve happy hour from 9-10pm) – sushi

Coconutsfresh fish and fish tacos

Maui Brewing Company (a great place for some good burgers and local beer!) – burgers and nachos

Foodland poke – I’d say this is a must-try while you’re here! Many of the grocery stores sell poke bowls, my favorite is from Foodland (there are Foodland locations all over the island!)
