Haleakala Elopement – Andy & Wenyin

I recently had the absolute pleasure of photographing Andy & Wenyin’s elopement here in Maui! They came all the way from Boston and wanted to start their special day at sea level and end it at a breathtaking 10,000 feet at Haleakala National Park.

We kicked off the day with photos of them getting ready together at the stunning Wailea Beach Resort – Marriott, one of my personal favorite spots in Wailea. They wanted a relaxed, slow morning and that’s exactly what we did. After that, we headed to the beach for some sandy shots before making the trek up to Haleakala.

When we arrived at the park, it was completely shrouded in clouds and we were a little worried we wouldn’t catch that magical golden sunset. But as soon as the ceremony ended and the officiant blew the conch, the skies miraculously cleared up and the sun beamed down on us. It was like a dream! We wrapped up the day with a bit of stargazing, which is always a breathtaking experience at Haleakala.

Capturing moments like these, where time seems to slow down and everything feels absolutely unforgettable, is what I love the most. Andy & Wenyin’s elopement was truly timeless and I’m so grateful to have been a part of it. Cheers to love, adventure, and making memories that will last a lifetime!
